While my Aunt Carol celebrated her birthday in its true day which was Monday, in her words she’s had and is having a week of celebrations to fit in her friends in small groups. As a very social person, this fits her perfectly.
As I did with my mom last week, today’s Throw Back Thursday will use the photos of our wedding day on which she walked me down the aisle in honor of her late brother, my dad, as well as my mom.
Matt and I were overjoyed that she made the trip out to join us, in her first trip to California in more than two decades. I know my dad would have been so proud that she filled in for him.
At our reception she included a quote about how just like in the word wedding we comes before I, as it should Be in our marriage.

That’s Aunt Carol to my immediate left. The song playing was “All I Do is Win”, one of my special requests. Though she said she didn’t know the dance to this one, she agreed to let me show her and had a great time dancing with our small group.
