Maternity Shoot, Part Two -Dressy Outfits

I’d envisioned wearing a fitted white dress for the second part of my maternity shoot ever since we set a date for it. Our photographer, Rachel, had recommended Matt wear light colors, so he wore white, grey and the Panama hat he wore on our wedding day. For jewelry I wore an aquamarine heart necklace and sea inspired Pandora type charm bracelet, both presents from Matt for our first wedding anniversary.

As she had done with our casual outfits first part of the shoot, Rachel did a great job capturing our love and excitement over being first time parents.

I think this shoot produced the most pictures of us kissing since our engagement shoot which was at the same beach as this one.

Though we were promoted to kiss for some photos in others we just did in between looking at each other and laughing as we enjoyed the moment.

I just love the beach and clouds in the background.

As I don’t know whether the baby is a boy or girl, we used two sets of props for these photos.

Or for this shot mixed up the colored blocks.

Rachel supplied this ribbon to help my stomach look like a present waiting to be unwrapped.

Matt let me wear his hat for a few shots including this one that used letters we had on our wedding cake table.

Of course no maternity shoot would be complete without a photo like this.

I’m so glad we took these photos to share on my blog and with our baby someday.
