Our Baby at 32 Weeks – The Size of Squash

Today our baby is 32 weeks. This puts him or her at the size of a jimica according to BabyCenter or as we were unable to find one at our supermarket, a squash, at 3 3/4 pounds and 16.7 inches long. For size comparison I put the squash up to the Family license plate style picture we used in our maternity shoot.

At 32 weeks I have 8 weeks to go to reach a full 40 weeks, though Dr. G will have me deliver sooner by a week or two. Historically a placenta makes even more Glucose during weeks 32-26, and I will address this more on my blog on Wednesday.

Some women feel a lot of itching at this point, yet and I am not feeling that yet.

This week baby’s will grow toenails, fingernails and hair.
