When I started this blog in March I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I’ve been able to have a blog post for each day, most written on the day posted, some written in advance and a few written the next day and back dated. I’ve taken a lot more pics than I would have without it (especially of Matt’s hand on my bump) and had fun sharing moments with readers who are friends as well as strangers to me.
I’ve taken lots of comparison shots including weekly ones of my bump and dull have to work on the chalk signs to post those I haven’t, which hopefully I will do with this my last full week on pregnancy disability.
At an event for families I was at today I found this display with baby sizes on it and a talcum powder container for size comaprison. The booth person told me their largest model, right, was 28 weeks, so my baby was even larger.!
Some events I was in I expected to blog about, yet never did like our bowling date night. As you can see it wasn’t a high scoring game for us, though I did get a spare in our second game.
Matt used our nicknames for our names including baby’s. I can’t wait to meet our baby and have a new nickname for him or her someday.
With my planned C-section in just 9 days soon each post will be include our baby in it. I’ll probably decrease blogging frequency, though I’m not sure how often I would update, most likely a few times a week.
I’m glad this blog has been here to record things including finding out I had Gestational Diabetes and managing it, tests, retests and my changing delivery day, various temp assignments, and fun moments with family and friends. I’m keeping up the blog for many reasons, one of which is to serve as a present for our baby someday. Here’s to 300 posts!
