Celebrating Candy’s Birthday

Tonight we had Candy over to celebrate her birthday. As we all like Sushi, we had decided to go to Sushi Confidential for dinner. Matt decided to try to put William into a restaurant high chair for the first time ever.

From this perspective William had the opportunity to be up close to the table and the menu.

Though he enjoyed the novelty of the experience, it soon became apparent it was too big for him at this time.

So we put him back in his stroller where he stayed for the rest of the meal.

Candy ordered the fried green beans appetizer. While it wasn’t something Matt or I would have thought to order, it was quite delicious.

We had ordered so much sushi for the three of us that it easily covered our table. With the exception of the amaebi – raw shrimp, that Candy did not want to try, we all shared everything.

We were all incredibly stuffed by all the fish. Then we went back to our apartment to have cake slices – tiramisu for Candy and red velvet cake for Matt and I.

William had fallen asleep at dinner, so he missed a lot of the night. Still we all had a great time.
