As an adult I’m not a huge fan of Daylight Savings Time. (So I’m thrilled California has taken a step to abolishing it). In addition to the statistics on how car accidents go up, I’ve seen first hand how our cat and son have their schedules changed. William prefers to wake himself up, and today was his first day at daycare after the fall back had occurred.
When go in his room to get his stroller, car seat and other items to put in his go to daycare bag, I try not to wake him. Today he did wake, but tried so hard to go back to sleep, so I made sure to cover him with his blanket. We got to daycare a few minutes early and he seemed pretty tired. Maribel even used his Elmo to help him prop up his bottle.
I love when she sends photos of what he’s doing and I see him in a new activity. Today she had a mini circus style tent. As usual his friends are happy to play at his level.
The tent was big enough that any of the boys could be in at one time.
I realize this next picture is both blurry and grainy, yet the expression on his face, that of unbridled glee was too priceless not to share anyhow.
William enjoyed using the couch to cruise around near the tent.
Considering it’s his first real experience with Daylight Savings time effecting his schedules, he had a great overall day back.
