As mentioned yesterday, Candy, Matt and I have attended the San Jose Giants Game every 4th of July followed by fireworks for several years. In looking amongst my photos I was surprised by how few photos I had of us attending these events including not having one of our first game together in 2013. However, I do have one from the 2014 game. I love this moment in time captured in our faces.
In the photo I have on my Madison Bumgarner jersey that Matt had given me the year before for Christmas. My hair was a deep red at that time, yet the sunlight had it lookig its natural dark brown .Candy wore her Giants Italian Heritage T shirt and 2012 San Francisco Giants World Series Championship hat. It’s amazing to realize that just a few months later The SF Giants would win the 2014 World Series as well, and that we would attend their victory parade together.
My photographs of fireworks over the years have been hit or miss. The one above was from our 2013 game, the only one I took that day. Last year I remember running out of battery power before the fireworks began, I was much more careful with it this year to be able to take more photos.
I’m glad I took more photos of us, the fireworks and the day in general this year. I know Matt and I will definitely be taking a lot more photos with a child on the way.
