February 5, 2017, Matt and I threw our second annual Super Bowl party. It was a great little get together foe which I wore my Super Bowl 50th gear in honor of the previous year when it had been held in Santa Clara, CA, a city near us.
Assuming Dr. G’s adjusted measurements of our baby are correct, it turns out it was quite a special night for us in another way as our baby was potentially conceived that night as well.
There is a great Super Bowl commercial that features Super Bowl Babies, people conceived in winning Super Bowl cities around the time of the game.
Technically our baby doesn’t qualify for this title as our team, the San Francisco 49ers weren’t even playing this year, yet the concept is so adorable.
It also made for a stunning visual commercial of the Super Bowl Babies from different cities.
Another interesting thing about this is that baby’s due date is October 30th, right before Halloween. Though Dr. G has said he will have me deliver at week 38 or 39, it’s cool we might have had our kid around a holiday under different circustances with my birthday being on the minor holiday of St. Patrick’s Day and Matt has his the day after Christmas. Sometimes we even have used that for partial birthday theme for one another.
As of today I’m almost out of double digits as I have 100 days of pregnancy (on paper) to go.
In some ways my pregnancy seems to be flying by and in others it seems like the birth is so far away. Today if one of the former.
