The Pure & Simple Groovy Grapefruit Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes were the second item from the July Bluum Box that I tried. As a huge fan of grapefruits in general I was really looking forward to trying them.
The Bluum Box page says their items in one box are equal to $47 or higher, and I found it amusing that they left the price on this one.
The instructions suggest this would be good to use as a daily cleanser even on days Makeup was not worn, which lately has been most days for me.
The wipes have a protective seal over them in the package.
They pop up tissue box style, and when two popped up at once, I was easily able to fit the second one back in.
I ended up wearing makeup a few days this week, and this was the first of those days when I had a FaceTime call.
Afterwards I used the cleansing wipes on the right half of my face. Most of the markup came off easily. I didn’t realize I had taken such a serious expression until later.
I then used soap and water to take off the makeup on my left side.
Though the wipes say they will reduce redness, it seems the side I used them on was left more red. Still it does remove makeup as advertised and they smell wonderful.
