WaterWipes – Product Review

One baby product I know I will go through a lot of is baby wipes. I hadn’t realized there were so many options until recently from scented to non and dry to wet, etc. one that intrigued me right away was Water Wipes of which I had received samples. When I received a full pack of them in my Bluum box, I decided it was time to try out a sample for a blog product review.

One of the things that appeals to me most about the product is how it is all natural. With 99.9% of the content being water the only other ingredient is a fruit extract.

Upon opening the sample pack there was a mild fruity aroma that was very pleasant.

In reading the tag (from the large package from Bluum) I leaned the scent was grapefruit seed extract. As this is one of my favorite fruits it was amusing I didn’t identify it at first. As is shown on the tag most other wipes manifacturers use many chemical ingredients.

I loved the story of how the creator invented these to cure his daughter of diaper rash, and his commitment to making the most pure wipes as a result of his findings of what often went into wipes available at the time.

So not having an infant here to test on, I decided to use my sample for the next most common use of heard of – makeup removal. I put on separately a heavy foundation and redness minimizing concealer (left image). Then I used the wipe to remove parts of both (right).

The wipes were very gentle and took a few tries to get all of the sections off. This makes sense as so much of them are water. It would often take a few tries to thoroughly clean a baby’s bottom as well. Afterwards my skin felt very clean.

Rating – five baby booties out of five
