Our baby is 33 weeks as of today, putting him or her at an estimated 17 inches and just under 4 pounds. This is comparable to the size of a pineapple or alternatively the size of celery, a favorite of mine as a Gestational Diabetes approved snack with peanut butter.
Babies tend to continue being very active this week and I know I’ve felt him or her kicking harder and more frequently, especially tonight with back to back football games on our TV) – I must be growing a future fan.
Our baby’s skeleton continues to get harder this week as calcium strengthens the bones.
The skull bones do not get as hard or fuse together however to help baby with the birth process.
