William’s First Thanksgiving was spent in Pleasanton so he could visit with Candy. She had the table ready the night before and took him around it telling him all about the plates and decorations. It looks like something out of a home style magazine.
As it was his first Thanksgiving, Matt and I made sure to have an adorable outfit for him to commemorate the event. Unfortunately, the 0-3 was a little big for him, still he looke
Jennifer and John came over to meet the newest edition to our family. Jennifer wore a beautiful blouse in festive fall colors with leaves on it.
William was fussy with tiredness, yet Jennifer and John still enjoyed visiting with him.
Being experienced parents, they were not phased that he was fussy and soon started to try and soothe him.
In no time at all, Jennifer and John had him soothed and happily asleep in Jennifer’s arms.
Later that day, Matt and I gave Candy a special present, in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The present was a photo of the four of us from our hospital maternity shoot. This family photo is one of our favorites of the four of us. We are definitely grateful to have Candy as such a large part of our lives.
William did not have a seat at our table, though he did have a special seat for the meal in his car seat.
We had a great meal with family and friends who stopped by later in the day. While William will not remember this Thanksgiving, I look forward to showing him photos from the day.
