William’s First Christmas Parade and Season Kickoff in Pleasanton

Last year was the first that Matt, Candy and I had attended the Pleasanton Christmas Parade together. This year we were excited to go again and take William. He was dressed in his special polar bear inspired coat, which resmebles a famous Coca Cola mascot.

Matt had his Santa hat and Christmas Vacation shirt ready for the event.

Matt spent several hours getting the lights ready on his mom’s house.

We made sure to take a selfie along the parade route.

Candy had on a huge smile as she held William.

The balloon people were as usual at the front to help kick off the parade. They are among Candy’s favorites.

I just love this gingerbread float.

I’m a huge fan of the Minion float as well.

As always, Santa was the last participant in the parade.

Then it was time to take a family picture by the official lighted tree.

What a difference a year makes, here is our photo from last year before I was pregnant.

After the tree lighting we returned home for Matt to finish the lights.

Even with a break to attend the parade and tree lighting, it only took Matt 12 hours from start to finish to decorate. As always the Perri house looks wonderful for Christmas.
