Matt’s Holiday Work Potluck

Matt’s workplace had a potluck yesterday to  which employees could invite members of their immediate family. William and I were instructed to dress festive, so I was delighted that William still fit in his newborn Santa outfit. He unfortunately has outgrown his matching Santa hat.

Baby clothes can often share a size yet fit a baby differently. Though his Santa hat is too small for him, the 49ers cap which I originally bought for my maternity shoot, is too big for him despite being labeled newborn as well.

As usual William enjoyed going to annew place and having the attention of many new people. He made such adorable faces, and while I don’t know what he was trying to communicate here, I’m sure he was trying hard to get his point across.

It was fun seeing how some of Matt’s coworkers dressed way up for the occasion.

Cora, who has a nine year old son asked to hold William. He seemed to recognize her from the Thanksgiving potluck even though this time she had antlers.

William enjoyed the activity, bright lights and diffenet atmosphere of the day. He’s often less fussy in public like this, probably as he is so entertained by his novel surroundings.
