William and I were invited to Matt’s holiday work potluck. As we would be there for hours I knew William would need to nurse. So I packed my infinity style nursing scarf by Qaqadu so as to use and evaluate it. The scarf comes in this handy matching bag of the same material as the scarf. While I may never get it folded up exactly as it came, I’m glad to have it to keep it clean for traveling.
The scarf is made of a lightweight material, yet it is solid enough that it cannot be seen through.
The scarf is a good length even for a petite woman like me. I took this photo while nursing William underneath it.
It’s a stretchy material that easily covered me on all sides so that I could nurse with confidence knowing that I was covered up enough for a workplace.
As there was lots of marital, there are other uses for the scarf including covering a car seat for privacy and, covering the top of a shopping cart to put an infant in.
The scarf does not have a peak panel, so I did have to look through myself at the neck opening. While I wish there was one, most nursing scarves are made without one.
William isn’t a fan of having scarves over his head while eating, yet he did tolerate it for several minutes. Other babies may do well with scarves or not eat with one on them at all.
