William has been fortunate to get lots of great toys so far from many different sources. Some toys have been simple, others complex. I’ve had lots of fun seeing how he responds and plays with them. One that I was especially delighted to get for him was this Merry Mover from Katki, a toy safe enough even for a newborn baby.
Katki had bought his one for William as her own son, Ishan, had enjoyed his so much.
I loved the concept as the other boys in daycare had tried to share their cars with William. Of course he was too young for them, and looked puzzled when they tried to hand him one.
The car has a bright, friendly face on it as well as moose antlers.
The details are just incredible, even down to the door handle.
As the name implies, the toy wheels do allow it to be moved at a great speed for a young child.
It’s lightweight and well made overall.
Even as a simple toy, it puts a smile on William’s face whenever he is given his car.
He really loves that he can grab onto it easily. It’s a great fit for his hands.
Sometimes, he tries to use it as a teething toy, as babies are apt to do, so I have to take it away from him momentarily.
While I do think it’s well made, it is painted and as it’s not advertised as a teething toy, it’s probably best to not let him use it as one. That unintended use aside, I love seeing him play with it as much as he enjoys doing so.
Rating – five baby booties out of five
