One of the best things about William’s day care provider, Maribel, is all the fun activities she plans for the boys in her care. One of them had a birthday on Friday, and so she had a birthday party for him during the day. I was astounded when she sent me this photo via text of William wearing a party hat without making a fuss about it or trying to take it off.
Although there were only the three boys and Maribel, she had quite the elaborate set up for them. The plates in the center were decorated with the handprints of the two older boys.
William’s expression in the photo above was so priceless, i had to crop it. His expression seems to be one of shock that he isn’t getting any cake.
All the boys definitely seemed to be having fun with the celebration.
William even had his Merry Mover car on his high chair to enjoy.
Afterwards, there was time to cuddle while the older boys, who are on a different schedule, took their naps.
I’m so impressed with all the effort that went into this party. I will definitely enjoy seeing photos from his party at Maribel’s when he turns one.
