William is 23 Weeks Old

Every week William amazes me with how much more active and engaged with his surroundings he is becoming. I’ve been telling people for a long time that he wants so much to crawl, to stand to walk, that I just sense his determination even though his body isn’t there yet.

We definitely notice him rolling around on his play mat more. Even at night, he rolls all over his travel crib, though he usually ends up touching one of the walls with his body as he did with his bassinet.

For the Easter activities at Maribel’s house, he was a great with his bunny ears and watching from a high chair. He did try to put a crayon in his mouth, and unfortunately he’s a ways away from being able to color.

Candy put helped him sit up today. Then he was able to maintain the position for a little while.

I just had to let him sit next to the realistic baby doll one of the girls had at Easter.

I realize this photo isn’t well focused on his face. Yet, it’s too adorable not to share. Candy discovered he’s enjoying pacifiers now, at least to use as a teething toy.

He’s also very flexible. He can get into positions easily that we adults can’t even with lots of effort.

Although he isn’t allowed to sleep in a bed per se, occasionally he will fall asleep while playing with us on a bed. Here Inky is guarding him.

Our little ball of energy keeps us on our toes. We love him so much.
