William is Twenty-Eight Weeks

Once again a snippet about baby’s development week is rather significant to William’s development. Right now William is for the most part being given only pureed foods. We did give him small crushed up tiny pieces from our lasagna on Mother’s Day, yet besides that we are not trying food from our plates just yet.

It’s been really great seeing him enjoy some foods and eating in general a lot. Other foods have been more misses than hits. He doesn’t seem to like rice cereal or oatmeal even when we mix in other foods, yet it is important for him to get these to get his daily requirement of iron.

He’s such a happy and expressive baby. I love seeing these looks of pure delight on his face.

Other times he will give more subtle smiles, which I love as well.

I’m making sure to take more photos that we are both in. While he has no idea that a photo is being taken, he often has a smile that is easy to capture.

We’ve been letting him spend more supervised time trying to crawl.

There are times when he gets so close to it that I think it will be any day when he does. While he hasn’t hit that milestone yet, I do predict it’s not that far away.
