William’s Baptism Book – Book Overview

Several months ago our church’s photographer, Bonnie, had sent me an email telling me to make sure to see her after church as she had something for me. While I considered it was something to do with William, I was absolutely floored by the amazing and perfect book she’d made about his baptism.

Bonnie had created the book using photos she’d taken on the day. The book was full of great photos and even text to further document his special day.

The photos captured big and small details of his day. The photos of the book really don’t do the photos justice in how beautiful they are.

William’s outfit had many pieces that were special in details and significance. Bonnie captured everything so well.

Bonnie made sure to note how William was the fourth generation Perri to wear his christening gown.

These stunning photos show the details in the gown and special necklace he wore for the occasion. The necklace was made for and by children of our church’s ministry. I was given one while pregnant for William which I saved for this occasion.

Of course the book needed a photos of Peggy Joy holding William.

I love how Bonnie not only made sure to get photos of everyone who was there for William, she made sure everyone was in our book including our friends Cliff and Katie.

We have formal portraits with my mom and Candy.

As well as photos of his Godmother Kristi.

The book and photos really capture the solemn and fun moments of the baptism.

We have the moments of the water being gently applied to William with everyone’s hands

The book also captures William’s Godfather and Godbrothers who attended via technology and the dedication song sung to William. The song was so special and emotional that happy tears were in my eyes as it was sung to him.

It was during the song also that we were presented with William’s official certificate signifying his baptism and welcome as a member of my church.

I’ve read this book to William a few times. I cannot wait till he is old enough to understand it is about him. In the meantime it was a great present for both my and Matt’s mom for mother’s day.
