I just don’t know where all the time is going. From fitting into our arms with room to spare to getting longer, stronger and more active, William seems to grow a bit more each and every day.
William definitely is in the testing stage. When his Godmother came over to visit on Saturday, he quickly went for the bow on our gift to her and immediately put it in his mouth as he does almost everything he can find. He loves petting our cat, Inky, as well, which he have to supervise as sometimes he tries to grab instead of gently petting her.
William was born with hair that soon resembled a mohawk, a little fauxhawk. Matt often shaves his head in the summer months, so I made him promise to shave a temporary mohawk for himself so his hair would match Williams. Though William’s hair is more filled in now, it was fun to show them both temporarily sporting this style.
As he gets older William will often be content to be out and about around town. It was great to be able to stop and hangout in a Starbucks after an errand. I enjoyed their Pink Drink which is supposed to help boost milk supply, though I haven’t noticed that much of a difference. Later, I gave him a few strawberries that were softened in my drink and he appeared to use them.
His continued flexibility amazes us. He loves grabbing his foot and though I didn’t get the moment in time, can bring it all the way up to his mouth so he can chew on his toes.
As he can sit up easily, some toys including his musical piano are even more fun for him to play with.
Other times he seems to enjoy playing with toys in ways in which they weren’t intended, such as by exploring the outside of his activity mat.
I have a few hoodies, yet I rarely put the hoods over my head. William seems content to have this one on him.
He looks so adorable in this outfit Candy gave him. Coincidentally, we were both even wearing stripes that day.
