Although William’s Godmother, Kristi, lives local to us, our hectic schedules have made it so we had not seen her since William’s baptism. We were delighted to find out that our schedules matched up for a few hours yesterday, so we invited her over to see us and especially William.
William seemed to recognize her, starting at her with wide eyes from the moment we invited her in.
It was great to have the chance for her to see how William enjoyed the toy that she had given him for Easter. Sometimes he’s more into it than others, however, he did enjoy watching her demonstrate it for him.
William enjoyed making an adorable face and sort of playing hide and seek with her and the toy.
When William needed a diaper change, I put him in one of the outfits that Kristi and Gary had bought for him. Go Niners!
William helped us give her his Mother’s Day present to her as his Godmother.
Though the book was about his baptism, William didn’t warm up to her reading the book to him.
So I took him in my arms for a bit and let Kristi look over the book.
It turned out he was hungry. Kristi sat on the floor, which I’m apt to do at times as it makes my back feel great and gave him his bottle.
Candy came over for a bit and was happy to get the chance to see Kristi as well.
William was happy to see her as well, yet, didn’t want to smile for any photos.
Which was particularly funny as he had smiled a bit for Kristi when she had taken one with him an hour earlier.
It was so great to see Kristi. We look forward to seeing her and the rest of his Godfamily when they are in town.
