William’s Seven Month Photo Shoot

For William’s seven month photo shoot I went with a Mickey theme as he has some adorable Mickey clothes and a stuffed Mickey that is a present from his Godparents. Matt warned me before I started the session that putting him on the couch, the usual spot would not work as he was in an active mood. Even though it was a short time before his bedtime, it turns out Matt was right.

William squirmed and moved so much throughout our shoot. He’s moving about in almost every shot including my keepers and lots of funny outtakes. He definitely loved putting the objects in his mouth.

Though he didn’t want to hold still, his smiling good nature came through in our session.

Matt definitely helped me get him positioned and staying put (at least somewhat) for many of these.

It’s hard to get him to hold onto his W without trying to put it in another position.

He did let me keep it still for this one. I’d hoped to flip it for an M for Mickey, yet it was not to be.

In this photo it seems like he knows just how adorable he really is. He should as we and others are often telling him so.

With this shot, I’m as close as I’m likely to get of him doing the arms for, “Oh Boy! It’s Mickey Mouse!”

I tried the W again, this time he just wanted to put it in his mouth.

I had hoped to change outfits to his other Mickey one, yet he was ready for eating and that was about it.

For the last shot, I did a daddy and son one. I think William looks so much like Matt in this one.

Though I didn’t get all the shots I’d hoped to for this session, I got a lot of smiles and fun actions.
