Matt and I usually grocery shop for the upcoming week on Sundays. However today we decided to go early so we could relax tomorrow. William was sleeping when we arrived so we kept him in his carseat and took him in his stroller. While walking around a little girl asked if she could peak at the baby. It turns out he had awoken and was happy to say hello.
It’s amazing how friendly kids are naturally to one another. They are the embodiment of the saying “s/he never met a stranger”.
The girl’s mom and I were fascinated seeing how they enjoyed seeing and putting a hand on each other’s faces.
When it was time for the girl and her mother to leave, she didn’t want to go. William did not want her to go, either.
While occasionally Maribel will be asked to watch a little girl, all the kids who attend William’s daycare regularly are little boys like himself. It’s probable he found this girl fascinating as a result.
