Playing With His Food

Candy mentioned that William should really be enjoying his Gerber Puff cereal, both in terms of texture and flavor. The few times we’ve given it to him he wasn’t a huge fan, however, I decided to let him have another try with them.

At first he seemed to think they were little toys. He grabbed one with his hand, then looked intently at the others as if deciding if he should grab those as well.

Moments like these I really wish he could answer questions. I’d love to ask him what he was thinking or planning to do with them.

Just having them on his tray was no incentive for him to even try to eat them.

I waited and waited, yet, he didn’t even try to put one in his mouth. Considering he loves putting things in his mouth, this was hysterical.

In the end, he showed no interest in eating them. I think he remembers that he’s not a fan of these, and that, for now at least, these will not be part of his meals.
