This week I review the first light reading book of my blog: Little Fingers and Little Toes. The book is made up of quotes on every other other page, some pages with writing have one quote and some two. The pages with two quotes feature one religious and non/religious one. Opposite the quotes are adorable photos of babies in their first years of life.
One of the great things about the book is that it can be read straight through or choosing one or more pages at random. It’s perfect for those with little free time, as is true for many partners. It would be a good gift for parents and parents to be, grandparents and grandparents to be and godparents and godparents to be.
The quotes are all uplifting. While some of the quotes seemed to make others redundant, most were great additions to the book.
Though there were two babies who are African American and one who was Asian, most of the babies appear to be Causcassian and some races were not represented at all which feels unbalanced and might cause some potential buyers to choose a more racially balanced book instead.
Rating – four baby booties out of five
