The big development for Baby Perri this week is that of reflexes. S/he is able to open and close fingers and making sucking motions that will allow thumb sucking in the near future. The food size comparison is that of a lime, which in the spirit of Easter just gone by, I put near a plastic egg for size comparison.
Additionally his or her intestines are now moving into the abdominal cavity and the kidneys will start excreting urine.
This is one of the points at which some people share they are pregnant as I did with Matt’s extended family yesterday.
