Bump Photos Weeks 13 – 17

As people who love taking photos of ourselves and each other, I was definitely looking forward to having Matt take photos of my expanding bump. We started with Week 13 and were still figuring out how to best do them, so I’m missing ofthe shots I started the next week. I put stickers on my belly to show the week.

I had considered wearing stickers each week, then came up with a better idea. Using my chalk markers and boards I could show the weeks numerically and an appropriate fruit or vegetable comparison.

I’ve been having Matt take the photos on Thursdays as it is the last day of that week for my pregnancy. For week 15 we both fell asleep early on Thursday and luckily woke up before midnight. My eyes were shut in all the photos as my eyes were still adjusting to the bright light.

In addition to seeing my bump grow and get more defined, the photos show my ability to draw the food, and in some cases the drawing is less than idea so the caption helps a lot. This week was an avacado, a food I love and crave, yet can’t draw well.

I feel like my bump is really taking shape here both in clothes and when uncovered.

Overal, while the change is somewhat subtle from week to week, I agree with the moms to be forum I’m on that my bump is getting bigger, rounding out and more defined. We will keep taking and posting these and I look forward to sharing more with you.
