One way my pregnancy has been measured is in time, both the amount I’ve been pregnant and the time left until baby’s estimated due date. Though many people think of pregnancy as nine months, it’s really 40 weeks as the baby is considered two weeks along at Estimated Conception Date. With this in mind, our baby reached the half way point last week, so it’s a good time to show a few more bump photos.
I’ve really enjoyed drawing theses out, though as I’ve mentioned before I’m definitely not a capable artist. In some the captions of the food’s name of definitely needed like in the bell pepper above.
Though I have many flowing maternity tops, I’m more apt to wear regular T shirts over maternity pants or jeans. This one was a present from Matt referencing “Firefly”, a cancelled TV show we both miss.
You may recognize this one from our pregnancy reveal shoot. This seemed the perfect one to wear for our halfway point bump photos.
Though the first trimester included some nausea, heartburn and aches here and there and my back hurts now and then, I’m really enjoying my pregnancy. I even had someone say it would be all worth it during a discussion of foods I had to avoid for now as they put a hand on bump. I saw it coming and found the gesture adorable.
Though some longer shirts hide my pregnancy to various extents in front, there is no doubt from the side that I am expecting. Yesterday I wore my Orange Friday gear to work and upon seeing how tight my jersey was on me now, told Matt I might have to wear something else to the SF Giants game we are going to next month with Candy. I don’t have a sideways shot from earlier in pregnancy, but this one at eleven weeks on the left and yesterday at 21 weeks shows a lot of change.
Matt says I will still be able to wear the shirt to the game, though I will need one under it. Not sure if I will be able to button it up.
