SF Giants Game with Candy and Matt – Throw Back Thursday

On Saturday it will be three years ago that Matt, Candy and I went to a special SF Giants game together. Looking at our outfits I was able to determine that it was Italian Heritage Night. This theme is one of personal pride to them both as Matt’s late dad was of Italian heritage.

In the picture above Matt is proudly wearing his jersey over one of another sport – the Team Italia soccer jersey that he bought to commemorate the World Cup that year. Candy and Matt proudly wore Giants memorabilia As their outerwear.

I was happy to cheer on the Giants in person, however, at that time I did not have any Giants gear with our without an Italian Heritabe Night theme. The beanie I’m wearing and the shirt are both Matt’s from different Italian Heritage nights. While not planned to do so, my blue sunglasses even matched Matt’s soccer shirt.

I don’t recall our opponents that day or which team won. I’m sure there was lots of yelling and cheering from all of us as would be typical for a game we saw in person or on television.

One thing we definitely did not do at the game was get a crab sandwich or Bloody Mary from the concession stand. It wouldn’t be till a later game Matt and I went to with friends that we would discover these were available, in part as this was our first time having bleacher seats and the amazing vendors in that area.

The three of us will be returning to see The Giants next month for Peanuts Night, an promotional day they have been to and which will be my first time. I know we will want to stop by the amazing bleacher side vendors again for Bloody Marys for Matt and Candy and crab sandwiches for all.
