One of the best parts of the hospital in which I gave birth was their very generous visitor policy. While visitors (defined as anyone aside from Matt who was given a special parent bracelet) did need to check in every time, they were able to come during the day or night and I was allowed multiple visitors at one time. One of the first visitors was Matt’s brother, Scott.
Petra was unable to visit in person, so she sent this adorable My First Teddy in her place, an item I’d wanted to have for my child in the appropriate pink or blue, so it was amazing to have her have thought of it as well.
She also sent this beautiful bouquet on the left featuring blue roses.
Candy sent us this beautiful bouquet which came with a balloon and in a red wagon.
Timing can be everything in photos. William happened to be crying in this one and Martin was a good enough sport to let me take and post it.
William managed a big yawn for a photo with Katie.
He slept as Erin, who is due in December, and Tim posed with him.
I was so impressed with the handmade blanket and cap gifted to us by Kathy.
He looked so great in them that we used them in his in hospital photo shoot, which I will post in another blog entry.
