William is Nine Weeks

Today William is nine weeks old. He’s definitely increasing in size, weight and awareness of sounds around him.

There are times when it feels like his face is trying to communicate what he’s thinking as well. In this photo he looks skeptical, probably about the fact that it’s time for a nap.

Whereas other times getting him to sleep is easy, especially if he’s in someone’s arms and has had enough milk from bottle or breast to feel full.

Candy put him under the tree with a spinning musical Snoopy to entertain him. He enjoyed watching and listening to it again and again.

William likes being read to. While usually he would look at the person speaking, he’s pretty content to look at the turning pages.

Matt has been repeating the word Dada to William. Though he is months away from saying it or any other word he does make sounds back often similar in tone.
