With William clearly teething, I decided to buy him some smaller and easier to hold teething toys. Ashton Bee’s Organic BPA Freezeable Teething Toys were an Amazon Best Buy Pick and with five of them in a package for a low price, I had to give them a try.
I appreciated all the extra information about teething on the back. It inspired a lot of confidence in me that William would like and use the toys.
The toys were colorful with three of them resembling fruit. They are a good size for babies with small hands, which as an adult with smaller than average hands I can appreciate.
I really thought William would love to use these with their pretty colors and textures. I had high hopes for when Matt helped him put them up to his mouth.
However, even with help, directly getting his hand to his mouth, he’d give them at most a few chews then drop the toy. We tried a few different ones to see if the different shapes or textures would work better for him.
We tried a few for different surface areas and shapes, yet he wasn’t interested in any of them for longer than a few seconds.
The toys themselves seem very well made. I was especially impressed that they stay cold without having a freezer burn/sting to them. As the parent I think they are great, yet my son is either too young for and/or too uninterested in them despite having teething pain, so I’ll have to rank this straight up the middle.
Ranking – three baby booties out of five
