Pulled Himself to Sitting Up For the First Time

Today William hit a great developmental milestone – his first time sitting up unassisted. It was great that Matt and I were both home at the time that he did, so we could both see this great first in his life.

It was almost as if William knew he was going to figure it out. He was playing on the carpet when he made an excited noise and we both looked over and saw him figure it out. William was quite happy with his achievement.

I know I’ve said it before to friends and on here, and it’s still true. William is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever seen.

We weren’t sure if William would be able to stay up for long. He impressed us by how well he held his new position.

With being able to sit up, he will be able to enjoy the world including many toys even more.

While I do wish I had had this on video, just having these moments in photos and having experienced them with Matt has been amazing.
