I just cannot believe how time is passing for our son. While people who see him every week keep remarking on how big he’s getting, it still seems unreal to me how he’s growing and changing. This description cracks me up as we’ve had to say no to him a lot. He really enjoys going to things he shouldn’t including the cat’s toys, the clear panel on the under television case (most likely attracted by his reflection), the blinds, and more, he’s great at finding things he should stay away from – perhaps that’s part of their appeal that they are forbidden.
On Friday at daycare William briefly stood for (as far as we know the first time), holding onto a blanket. Today, he did it again holding onto a toy. He’s so fast when he does this that we have no photos yet, though I hope to, soon. Standing is getting closer to walking so I’m sure we will be saying no more often. In the meantime, he stands with support and in some interesting positions.
It’s fun watching him get up and down and really not care about his form or how he’s standing.
As he gets bigger, he’s also outgrowing outfits. These adorable whale pajamas were so tight on him that Candy thought they were 6 months. Instead, they are 9 months and this is probably one of the last times he can wear them.
Little clothes are so fun to buy. While I haven’t seen too many things with a nautical theme in his sizes to come, it’s always great to match him to his room’s theme.
