Cotz Pure – The Healthier Sunscreen – Product Review 

I admit it, I’m one of those moms to be who researches and thinks a lot about what ingredients I put on my skin. This is one reason why I took care in choosing sunscreen. We have lots of it in several SPF choices in our house, but only one of them, Cotz Pure, The Healthier Solution with SPF of 30 was packaged as being natural and recommended by dermatologists. So this was my natural choice to wear on the South Bay Hunger Crop Walk of three miles as well as the pregnancy reveal photos we took last weekend (to be shown in a later blog entry). Mama Bee Belly Butter – Product Review – Part One

Even since I learned I was pregnant, I’ve been more conscious of products I put into and on my body. I switched shampoo and conditioner and carefully looked for moisturizers as my skin tends to be dry, and I heard it might get progressively drier in pregnancy.  I looked forward to using this as it’s from one of my favorite green and animal friendly company’s Burt’s Bees.

Mama to Be Tea Sampler – Product Review 

One of the recommendations pregnant women are given is to avoid high amounts of caffeine for the safety of their developing babies. As a result many women choose to significantly decrease the amount of caffeinated coffee and tea they drink. As only an occasional coffee drinker, giving up coffee entirely was easy for me. I do enjoy tea, however, so I was excited to try Earth Mama Angel Baby Organics’ Mama to Be Tea Sampler.

Product Review – PharMeDoc Total Body Pillow with Jersey Cover 

This week I review a product I was very excited to buy, PharMeDoc Total Body Pillow with Jersey Cover billed as  The World’s Most Comfortable Maternity / Pregnancy Cushion. My hope was that the pillow would help me sleep on my left side, the preganancy position recommended by doctors despite my natural tendencies to sleep on my back or stomach.

Products Review – ROQ and URKOAZ Silicone Wedding Bands 

Every Friday I will review a product, and in some cases two similar products, that relate to pregnancy or parenthood. This first review will be on a category of product I have a lot of experience with, silicone wedding bands. As is the case with many women, pregnancy has swelled up my fingers, and wanting to continue to wear bands without having to worry about it being cut off, I tried many different bands.
