Three NSTs in A Week and a New Delivery Date

This was an unusual week in that I had three NSTs, only one of which was in my OB office, one of which was originally scheduled, one of which was rescheduled to a new time and location due to results at another medical appointment, and one of which was a special follow up.

My First La Leche Meeting

One of the reasons I was looking forward to taking time off before our baby’s birth was to attend meetings like La Leche. As I knew pregnant women were welcomed I was glad I would have the opportunity to attend one in my local area.

Labor and Delivery Tour

In order to prepare for baby’s birth and my after hospital stay, I went on a tour of the general Labor and Delivery and a Birthing Suite at the hospital where I will deliver. Each mom has a room to herself with her baby (or babies if she is having multiples). The baby will room in with her. Continue reading “Labor and Delivery Tour “

Lie Still – Book Review

This was an interesting addition to my box as I had received a somewhat similar item from Bluum in the box I received the previous month. In this review I will discuss this and the similar item.

Take Flight for Kids – Throw Back Thursday

Six years ago when I was still photographing weddings on a very part time basis, I was invited to help out with a charity, Take Flight for Kids. The charity invited children with disabilities and or special needs to go up with a pilot and parent or guardian on a small plane around Reid Airport. The children got to experience being an unofficial copilot for the day, though of course the real pilots had full control of the airplanes.
